FOTD - Golden Oldies

Yesterday I dug out some eyeshadows that I bought WAY back when I was first getting into make-up. This includes shades from my very first Fyrinnae order (my first step into the world of indie cosmetics.) Since that faithful day there are two eyeshadows that I recommend to everyone ordering from Fyrinnae - 'Digital Faerie' and 'Shrouded in Gold'.

[[ Aint is annoying when the pic you're pulling a weird face in shows off the make-up the best?! ]]

[[ Soz but I liked my hair in this picture! ]]

EYES - TFSI, Darling Girl 'Glitter Glue', Fyrinnae 'Polar Bear', Fyrinnae 'Digital Faerie', MUA 'Dusk til Dawn' palette dark blue, Fyrinnae 'Shrouded in Gold', MAC 'Vanilla' pigment, MAC 'Melon' pigment, Barry M 'Blue' bold eyeliner, Collection 2000 felt tip eyeliner, mascara.

FACE - No.7 'Beautifully Matte' foundation, Collection 2000 'Lasting Perfection' concealer, Collection 2000 face powder, The Balm 'Frat Boy' blush, MAC 'Vanilla' pigment.

LIPS - Shu Uemura 'BG 90', MAC 'Honeylove' lipstick, New CID gloss.

I LOVE BLUE EYESHADOW. People should wear it more often to make my soul happy :) I realized I don't own many indie blues though - which are your favourites? Any recommendations?

(P.S) STILL fading the blue out of my hair. I quite like this weird grey-green it's turned, though! The roots, however, are dark blonde...Not good! Can't wait to dye it another colour!

  4. Have you tried fading if the hair dye instead of letting it fade over time? Washing up liquid and head and shoulders are meant to be good for stripping hair colour. Also ages ago you were talking about mermaid hair and mentioned some vitamins, jus wondered if they worked at all and if you have any tips in your misson for mermain hair. I to am after long lushious hair but have killed it by bleaching it =/

  20. I'm still in awe of your eyeshadow application skills, you're so creative. I wore blue eyeshadow yesterday, I avoided the colour for a long time as it just reminds me of the faux pas of horrendously too dark foundation and big blue eyeshadow of dance shows as a child. I wore my blue shadow with a touch of green, yellow and a layer of Sugarpill Lumi, completely inspired by you!
