Each palette comes packaged in a cardboard sleeve, which gives a general description of the product, ingredients, weight etc. The blushes themselves are housed inside a sturdy black palette, complete with mirror. The palette is no bulkier than the average mobile phone - the perfect size for popping into your make-up bag.
I picked up the 'Pumpkin' palette, which contains 'Lantern' (shimmery coral red), 'Squash' (satin blue toned pink) and 'Pumpkin Pie' (matte medium orange). Having a mixture of textures is a great idea, since you can layer them to achieve different effects - 'Lantern' over 'Pumpkin Pie' gives a lovely highlighted look!
Each shade in the 'Pumpkin' palette looks surprisingly natural and fresh once buffed into your base - yes, even the oramge! On my warm, yellow toned skin, 'Lantern' gives a warm glow, 'Squash' gives a pinched cheeks effect and 'Pumpkin Pie' a splash of fun yet wearable colour.
Don't be fooled by the press pictures, which would have you believe 'Lantern' to be an 'Orgasm' dupe - it's far redder and much deeper with zero gold at all. Sleek blushes are super pigmented, so I'd always recommend a light hand and a fluffy brush to apply these bad boys!
Available for £9.99 each from Superdrug, soon to be online.
Do you own any 'Blush by Three' palettes? Have plans to?
9.99 for 3 good quality blushes?! I can't wait to get my hands on one!! xx

I really want to get these but my local store doesn't sell them. Are they on sleeks website yet?
ReplyDeleteI have this palette and it is just lively and so versatile and like you say, even the orange is pretty on the skin :)
ReplyDelete@ TheOtherSideofCool, yeah, bargain or what?!
ReplyDelete@ Ms. Red, they aren't on the site yet (though bizarrely the promo pics are). You could order them from the Superdrug site though :)

I got 'Lace' last weekend and really like it so far! Hope to pick up one or two more :)
ReplyDeleteAh this one does actually look a lot nicer than the Lace one everyone is raving about. I just don't know if I can bear to part with £10 for it, Sleek always seems overpriced to me! xo
ReplyDeleteLove these colours but I still think Pumpkin Pie is too orange for my pasty face! Great price though so may see what other palettes I can get my hands on
