FOTD - 80s Inspired Make-up!

Yesterday two friends had a joint 80s themed birthday party, never one to miss the opportunity to do wild make-up, I was happy to dress up!

I love how much of a bitch face I have in the sun glasses picture, but those shades are awesome! I bought them from H&M a few years back. The necklace was from Primark, the earrings from Peacocks.

EYES - TFSI, Sleek 'Pumpkin' blush, Ben Nye 'Cherry Red' blush, Yaby yellow eyeshadow, MUFE 92, Ben Nye 'Fuchsia' blush, Venomous Cosmetics shimmery chartreuse eyeshadow (sorry, don't know the name!), Startgazer eyeliner, Ben Nye pencil eyeliner, mascara.

FACE - Illamasqua matte primer, No.7 'Beautifully Matte' foundation, Collection 2000 powder, Ben Nye natural pink blush, Ben Nye 'Fuchsia' blush, Sleek 'Sahara' blush, No.7 highlighting powder.

LIPS - Barry M 52.

Also, I headed to Asda to buy WKD (yeah I know, shush, I like sugar) and found these £1.80 rip-off drinks. They're awesome! Total bargain. And a bit stronger than WKD at 4% instead of 2.8%...although they still taste like slush puppies. AND - since when was Jack Daniels available IN A CAN?!

Have you ever been to an 80s themed party? Who did you dress up as?

  12. Awesome! I went to an 80s prom the January before last at a venue in London, it was awesome as everyone made such an effort. I went for a sort of early Madonna style, lace, fishnets, ruffles.

  14. Ahhhh colours! You know a look HAS to be good when it involves using three blushes.

My friend had an 80s party, I went as Cyndi Lauper with blue eyeshadow, stripey orangey blush and BIG backcombed orange hair.

  15. Great look, I love it!
I used to go to 80's parties quite a lot, but not dress up parties just 80's music. I usually make my hair extra poofy, wear dark or bright smokey eyes and bright lips. I never was the serious dark kind of goth :p
