Demonia Platform Creepers

Sometime before IMATS (Jesus, that seems like AGES ago!) I ordered myself some Demonia platform creepers as a bit of a treat. I was in need of shoes which made me feel...stompy. Y'know, sh*t kicking shoes? Shoes which make you feel 10ft tall and a bit rowdy. Having had baby pink Underground creepers for six years, it was time for something a little more wearable!


The first time I wore them they killed my shins and ankles, which ached for days afterwards. That's pretty common with any 'platform' shoes, though. Today was my third time in them and I can honestly say they're one of the comfiest pairs of shoes I own! I paired them with rolled down socks, tights, shorts, a vintage mens cardi and plain vest for uni today - slouchy and stompy, ideal.

    I haven't owned a pair of stompy shoes in yeeears as I was seduced by heels once I hit my 20s. For me, creepers are like a good ex-boyfriend... there is nothing wrong with them, and I loved them at one point, but I've changed and we no longer work together despite fond memories. haha :-)

    I just can't justify spending that amount of money on shoes :( I love creepers, but will have to make do with trying them on around shops for now :(

    I really need some stompy shoes... I've been accused of doing the 'bitch walk' when I'm in nice heels, (I like the walk! Its all bitch-I'm-in-heels-hear-me-roar!) but its way too uncomfortable to wear heels all the time... Can I get a bitch stomp?

    They look nice on your body type.. if you're slim wearing big sturdy shoes like that is a fun contrast, it maken you look so cute! I have to be careful with my feet wearing heels and platforms, too bad cause I used to love my old boots.
