FOTD - Dinner with a Gypsy

While the cool kids are all out terrifying the town tonight, I've been sat inside playing with make-up! Seeing as it *is* Halloween, I decided to go for heavy eyes and dark lips, which ended up looking rather 1920s flapper girl-esque! Fling a lace top over your head, take some photos and hey presto - lonely Halloween night in, sorted!

Top three pics only had curves adjusted and linear gradients added. I didn't even use my studio light - quite surprising the results you can get with a nice camera and free editing software (Photoscape)!

[[ With the top like this, I look kinda Arabic instead of gothic! ]]

[[ Halloween - when red eyeliner is acceptable! ]]

Bottom two photos unedited...clearly haha!

EYES - UDPP, Darling Girl 'Glitter Glue', MUA 'Dusk 'til Dawn' palette, Stargazer eyeliner pen, mascara, Collection 2000 'Damson' lip pencil.

FACE - No.7 'Beautifully Matte' foundation, Collection 2000 pressed powder, Sleek 'Sahara' blush, Fyrinnae 'Centre Stage' highlighter, Collection 2000 'Lasting Perfection' concealer.

LIPS - Collection 2000 'Damson' lipliner, MAC 'Prince Noir' (outer edges only), dab of Lancome juicy tube.

Are you going out tonight? What are you dressing up as? OR - if you're not going out, what would you dress up as if you could?

  5. I frigging love it! You actually do look Arab! It's sultry, it's mysterious, it's exotic. You should sport this look more often! Haha :) xo

  6. Beautiful! Third photo down is stunning! If I was going out tonight I'd have gone as a gothic styled rag doll of sorts. Instead, I gave the idea to a friend. haha

  7. Wow, you look so different.

You're right, red eyeliner on the waterline could only be acceptable on Halloween!

  8. This is gorgeous; I love smokey eyes with dark wine-red lips. For some reason when I was reading the list of lip products I read one item as "Matt Damon", and it didn't surprise me.
