REVIEW - MUA Pro 'Dusk til Dawn' Palette

Y'know how Superdrug receipts have that section on the back which tells you to fill in a questionnaire online to receive a discount on your next purchase? Y'know how you forget about it and bin the receipt? Well, this week I actually filled one in! With it, you get 25% off MUA products, which makes their palettes even more of a bargain at just £3!

I decided to pick up the MUA 'Dusk til Dawn' palette up as part of my little haul. 'Dusk til Dawn' combines, beautiful neutrals with bolder, sultry shades for a rather versatile palette of colours.

[[ MUA 'Dusk til Dawn' top row swatches ]]

The first row compromises of two highlight shades (pearly white and golden cream), a deep brown, two soft brown-pinks and a plum-taupe with golden shimmer. All of these could be mixed and matched between  for day-to-day looks.

The bottom row gives us our staple black shot through with a heap of silver glitter (you'll need a sticky base for this), a deep royal purple, navy with blue glitter, bright turquoise, silver with silver glitter and an orangey gold. These shades are all perfect for combining for a night out or a dramatic evening look.

[[ The two on the far left (gold and cream) are also in the 'Heaven and Earth' palette. ]]

All twelve eyeshadows are shimmer, frost or glitter finishes. I think a sticky base is essential for most of these eyeshadows to bring out their full potential. As ever, I recommend either Fyrinnae 'Pixie Epoxy' or Darling Girl 'Glitter Glue'. You could try using them wet, also, although I find that because MUA eyeshadows are slightly oily, water doesn't take very well to them.

Overall, another fab palette from MUA! I really do think this would be the perfect 'go to' palette for travelling - you've got your neutrals for work/ family time/ 'being a tourist' and bolds for parties/ clubs/ drinks. Ideal.

Available from Superdrug for £4, or use your receipt to take 25% off all Superdrug's own ranges (MUA included) or 10% off all branded goods.
