REVIEW - MUA Pro 'Heaven and Earth' Palette (Swatches Galore!)

Hailed as the poor man's 'Naked' palette, the MUA Pro 'Heaven and Earth' palette has been flying off Superdrug's shelves at lightning speed. I'm not surprised...

12 gorgeous shades with that buttery soft, smooth consistency that we've all come to expect from MUA. The 'Heaven and Earth' palette comprises of frosty, shimmery and glittery eyeshadows, but the textures aren't so heavy that you feel like you've stepped back into the '70s. I advise using a slightly sticky base with these to stop any shimmery fallout, keep glitter in place and show these colours to their best potential!

Colours range from rich chocolate, to luxe gold and copper brown to daytime friendly taupes and fawns, all topped off with THREE (yes, three) highlight shades which include the most beautiful pink-peach I've ever laid eyes on. I do think that this needs to be swatched in person to really appreciate how unique these shades are, I couldn't do all the beautiful shimmer and duochromes justice through my photos!

Buy if - You have a heart beat.
Don't buy if - ....*tumble weed*...

The MUA Pro range is available at Superdrug in (some) stores and online (free delivery 'til August 8th!) Palettes are priced at £4 each.

  2. Best photographs of this by far.

I'll probably look out for this one, though I've been more drawn to the others in the range!

  3. Thank goodness it arrived in one piece :)
Your photos are gorgeous, truly gorgeous.
However, I am still not sure about this palette.
Why? the 'frosty, shimmery and glittery eyeshadows'. I don't think I can use this on me :(

  6. Ahh whenever someone uses ''buttery soft'' to describe something it instantly sounds sooo good! I've never tried any MUA products before, may have to now :)

I do own the Naked palette, but I will always make use of a budget alternative. Thank you for the excellent swatches!

  13. The last color is beautiful but I wish it would have had some blacks or other color-toned neutrals... I'm not a huge fan of brown but that is mostly because I have brown eyes. :-\
