Roses are...Purple?

I have a job interview on Wednesday, so I bleached the green out of my hair since it isn't exactly interview friendly and slapped some Directions 'Rose Red' over the top. Lets face it - red is a VERY normal hair colour these days. Nobody bats an eyelid at it.

[[ Soz bewbs shot. At least I have an inoffensive boy chest. ]]
[[ Lips are OCC 'Hoochie' and OCC 'Anime' mixed together. ]]

So...it isn't red. It it also isn't the hot pink I was expecting (thank God) while I washed the dye away, watching the neon pink water swirl down the plug hole. It's much pinker and brighter 'in real life'. In direct light, there's an awesome hot pink flash through it! I quite like it - which I'm surprised about since it's a much 'girlier' colour than I'd usually opt for. I'll be babying it with hot oils until it returns to its former...state? Glory is a far too generous description!

I bought the dye from eBay for about £3, so far I can't vouch for staying power/ fading/ transferring but the formula itself reminded me of Manic Panic.

What do you think? Prefer the green or the purple?

    Love, love, love the purple. Your hair looks really healthy and shiney in those pics. I would love to do something like that to my hair but i'm just too old and boring.

    I love that colour, red is pretty dime a dozen these days, I've had mine red for a few years then Rihanna dyed hers and all of a sudden everyone had it red lol, I still like mine though.

    Tha magenta is awesome looking on you, I loved the green to though xx

    @ EVERYONE, thank you for all the positive comments and good luck wishes! I've grown to love this colour, it's purpley when first applied and neon pink once you've washed it - pretty darn cool haha :)
