The moral of the story is...don't post your links on my blog! Your comments will not be approved unless it's relevant to the post. Go whore yourself elsewhere. Thanks!
Dear Spammers and Self Promoters
Take your powers of copy and paste elsewhere. I'm not sure words will cut it, so I decided to lay it out really simply for you. Behold the wonder of Paint...

LMAO hahahhaha love it :D
ReplyDeleteOMG YOU SHOULD TTLY CHECK OUT MA BLOG!!!
ReplyDeletehaha just kidding ;) love your illustration, if THAT doesn't make it obvious to people, dunno what will :P
xx
Heheh I utterly love it!! I can't stand the hai follow me ktnxbai messages.
ReplyDeleteWow great post, check out my blog ;)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! This made me laugh so much, I really hate these comments... The ones that annoy me more are great blog follow me and I will follow back like seriously GO AWAY! They never get published!
xx
LOL!! Wow!! The illustration is amazing, your art skills are the shit!
ReplyDeleteI get the same comments, they just get ignored haha!
Hahaha, love it! Amazing paint work!
ReplyDeleteThis is the best blog post ever.
ReplyDeleteGreat cartoon. I love the ponytail you gave yourself and that purple tank top? Cute!
Hah! Love this!
ReplyDeleteIt irritates me when I get spammers who leave comments because I even installed a wordpress widget to allow people to link to their most recent blog post (CommentLuv) and their name/email/blog url, too. So it irritates me when they leave their link in the comments field because I've already provided 2 other places for them to do it!
Haha this is hilarious! I bet they still won't get it! x
ReplyDeleteSo true! You go girl haha
ReplyDeleteWow youre quite skilled at the old Paint huh? Lol what I dont understand most is the fact that when you leave a comment, your name links back to your blog anyway, so leaving a link in your comment is totally pointless. And annoying. Have these people not figured it out?? Lol I check out most people who leave me comments if Ive never heard of them before, but if they leave a link in there, its a no-go Im afraid!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. Love your reviews. LOVED your spammer post. I had to retweet it. Hope that is okay. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteLove the cartoon!
ReplyDeleteComments like that really annoy me - especially if they don't even make SOME reference to what I've posted and are just copied and pasted into my comments. x
hahaha love the drawings! and the picture of you is priceless, with the pony details. haha for the dell product placement, i hope they're paying you for this cartoon. it's not a apple so i forgive you hehe.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeletelooool that is some masterpiece!
some people are just unbelievably desperate
:|
lmao.. LIKE!! PPL are so desperate to have many followers. If the blog is good eventually you will get there! Worst is when they hold a contest and the only way to enter is if you advertise their blog and contest on your own blog.
ReplyDeleteHa ha love it! It annoys me so much when people only post a comment to self promote! X
ReplyDeleteHahaha, the comic is just brill. I hate people who shamelessly plug themselves, discretely or not.
ReplyDeleteAnw, I remember you posting on how you're looking for nail polishes that wouldn't irritate the skin around your nails. I came across this article on one of my feeds. Just a heads up (;
whuahahahaha. great one =p
ReplyDeleteLMAO awesome
ReplyDeleteFantastic post!
ReplyDeleteI hate when people do this... I don't mind suggesting people who have great blogs/good advice or what not but just posting to check out their blog is so lame when they can't even say something better then "Great post!".
this is amazing. i HATE seeing comments like that, they're everywhere! you're a star for deleting them all :D
ReplyDeleteoooh that made me chuckle as much as the nutella faced girl!! x
ReplyDeleteLOL @ "thought about golf"
ReplyDeleteIt's gotten to the point where I just edit those comments and take out the blog name and link. And if that's all they leave...well, then, the whole thing gets deleted.
ReplyDeleteMasterful comic. Made me laugh :P
ReplyDeleteLOOOOOOOOOOOOOL finally someone lays down the self whore law xx
ReplyDeleteNow this is awesome! I couldn't agree with you more, I think these comments are actually very rude and it shows that they didn't read the post at all and honestly, I never click on their blogs.
ReplyDeletex Klara
Gotta love Paint.
ReplyDeletei couldn't agree more LOL. i hate getting those self-promoting comments! xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the cartoon! Especially the :) to :/ face! Made me giggle :)
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Love it. They truly are most annoying. I post them but get a strange sense of satisfaction out of the knowledge that they never bother to make their links clickable. Does that make me a bad person?
ReplyDeletehahaha Oh wow loved it. It's so true, it gets on my nerves too.
ReplyDeleteHaha, this is too funny! My personal favorite is when they leave me a one or two word, generic comment like, "Pretty!" then leave me ALL of their links to their blog, twitter, AND facebook. That's too much.
ReplyDeleteLOL i love this post. best ever.
ReplyDeletedrawings are FAB!
Hahahaha, okay thanks for making my morning, this is full of *WIN*!!!
ReplyDeleteI literally laughed out loud and people are currently staring at me like im insane. haha
ReplyDeleteNow I feel bad adding this but I gave you an award on my blog :)
LMFAO!!! This rocks! I must share it w/ my friends.
ReplyDeleteLOOOOOOOOOOOL you're hilarious!!!! I'm definitely following you!! x
ReplyDeleteI agree with your cartoon. I'd rather gain genuine followers on my own merits.
ReplyDelete@ PIRATE, thank you for the link! I shall have to check it out :)
ReplyDelete@ EVERYONE, ok, I'm replying in one big sweep because there has been such a big response (thanks!). Firstly, yeah they are annoying! I wish I could give a virtual slap to everyone who does it, or blacklist them or something. Y'know, I wouldn't walk into a restaurant and start telling the customers about my own restaurant across the road...it's just bad ethics. And rude, cheeky, ignorant - the list could go on! I'm glad everyone understood and got a laugh from it though :D
Please go into cartoons?! This is brilliant, and I'll admit when I first blogged I posted a couple of comments like that, but looking back it's ridiculously immature x
ReplyDeletehaha love it! :)
ReplyDeleteFee x
I agree, but I like comments relating to the post then leaving their link, i've found so many blogs through that.
ReplyDeletehahahaha love this!! Xx
ReplyDeletehahahaha amazing!! I hate when this happens, and sometimes their saved pretext doesnt even apply to your actual post like...
ReplyDelete'lovely outfit, cute blog check my blog out and follow me'
when there may have not been an outfit post in sight!!
GRRRRRRRR
x
LOL the thing is.... i didn't think sharing your url was that bad (okay, for u it is!) except if their compliments don't relate to your actual post, the question is how did you manage to get 1052 followers? did they magically appear in your followers section? or did you like 99.9 percent of your followers check out there blog (when you first started blogging) and asked them to check out yours? your url point has no point act all you come across so damn arrogant [[oh i got enough followers so why would i want to follow you'' and on the other hand it seems as though you don't want people to see other urls just in case their blog - has more followers than yours or just in case there blog spot is better than yours U R NOTHING special every body has a make look at me blog? and by the looks of things you are highly insecure I MEAN DOES IT HURT YOU THAT BAD THAT A URL ADDRESS IS PUT IN YOUR COMMENT BOX!!
ReplyDeleteSo silly grow up most of your followers don't EVEN COMMENT in your comment box! so see this comment as a privileged comment!
and DON'T DELECT THIS COMMENT! LET EVERY1 SEE AS I HAVENT ATTACHED A URL ADDRESS.
I LIKE UR BLOG BUT TIS IS RUDE!!
ReplyDelete@ Euqinom-Seven, actually, this was posted when I had around 500 followers and my blog has managed to make it to 1000 purely from other bloggers linking to me, websites featuring my blog, companies featuring my blog, people retweeting links to my blog on Twitter, Beauty Blog Link Love and the power of Google searches. When I first started blogging, most of my followers came from my Youtube site or knew me from make-up forums. I have NEVER left my URL in a comment on a blog.
ReplyDeleteI see leaving your URL behind as bad etiquette. I don't mind linking to other blogs I like (see my 'Blog Love' page with over 70 blogs linked on it!) and support other blogs. However, my blog is not an advertising board for others.
okay fine i just thought the whore part was rude! but above all else you do have a good blog!
