For 'Double Dares with BBH', I'll be contacting a different blogger every one or two weeks and asking them to challenge me to something beauty related. It can almost anything*. A certain FOTD, hair style, body art, outfits...whatever you can think of - the more challenging the better! The only catch is, whatever that blogger 'dares' me to do, they have to do themselves, too!
For the first 'Double Dare with BBH', I asked the lovely lady from Do Not Refreeze to take part. Do Not Refreeze was one of the first blogs I started following and I read every new post, so it made sense that I must get Leanne to take part! Her idea was for a split face look - half drag/ dramatic, half plain....
[[ Half a tonne of makeup ]]
[[ How awesome are these falsies? They were falling off and I didn't notice til uploading pics! ]]
[[ No makeup! ]]
I had fun doing this look; I've never really tried full on, all out 'true' drag makeup before but have always admired drag queens' makeup skills! You wouldn't even believe how much bronzer I loaded on - it was ridiculous. And how much powder....scary, scary amounts haha. Takes more than a quick sweep of colour to give me cheekbones! Is it worrying that I'd still wear the drag side out? What do you guys think of my wig? I got it ages ago off eBay back when I made fake dreads. I think it's rather diva.
* I say almost because I draw the line at bleaching my hair and can't do nail art right now haha.

ReplyDelete@ EVERYONE. Sorry I'm not replying individually for one, but I replied to about 24 of your comments then accidentally clicked the 'back' button on my keyboard -_- Annoying! Took me ages to write all of that out! But anyway...
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! This look was uber fun :) The key is just to load as much foundation and contour on to your face as you physically can haha. The lashes are Girls with Attitude 'Feather Goddess' lashes from Superdrug/ Boots - might be worth checking out Savers if you have one near you, too. I can most certainly do a post about how to chisel out some cheekbones with bronzer - keep your eyes peeled! Thanks again Leanne for challenging me :D
