I got a blob of mascara on my lid. Now, I've been embracing mascara smudges lately, partly because of how cumbersome the Max Factor 'False Lash' mascara wand is, partly because Sam from Pixiwoo does! So, instead of trying to remove it (this mascara is a pain to remove anyway) I got a little mascara print happy.
It was smudgy, it creased, but I enjoyed it! Paired with a red lip and dark eyebrows, I looked rather Frankenfurter, but I couldn't bring myself to remove the lippy so rocked it like the mad transvestite 'scientist' instead.
What do you think to mascara print patterns? Do you leave mascara mistakes or wipe them away?

ReplyDeleteeverything seems to be too well blended sometimes, and therefor you need some smudginess! and it kind of reminds of prints you can make with lace, but I think you did this by hand right?

Pretty! I tend to make 'messy' smudgy liner over the top if I make a major mascara mistake, but that's not very often these dayys as I have such piddly lashes and I never use the big brushes :( If it's a tiny wee mistake which happens all the time I just clear it up.

ReplyDeleteI always leave my mascara prints on the lower lashline as from a distance it just looks like more lower lashes! And in some looks you need a bit of smudge.
